The movie's tagline, 'He Never Gave Up On His Dream,' portrayed Wayne Boyd's six attempts to try out for the United States Olympic Wrestling Team from 1964 to 1984. The film featured notable wrestlers such as Danny Hodge and John Smith, a 2X Olympic Wrestling Champion in 1988 and 1992. Wayne Eric Boyd starred as Brock Jones.

The two become friends as Williams tries to get Jones back on track and coach him to the Olympics.
